Brothers & sisters, being humans we all make mistakes and we all sin but the best among the sinners are those who repent before their Lord and make an honest and sincere effort to mend their ways. As Allah (SWT) says in the Glorious Qur'an:

"Say: "O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful" And turn in repentance and in obedience with true Faith your Lord and submit to Him, before the torment comes upon you, (then) you will not be helped" ~ Qur'an 39:53-54
